Malta South Montana Department of Transportation Project
CCI Trenchless recently completed a highly challenging infrastructure project for the Montana Department of Transportation. The task involved replacing a 4-foot diameter culvert with a 7-foot diameter tunnel, spanning a total of 220 feet. This project was located in a remote area of Montana, adding to the complexity of the job.
Our team employed a custom-designed steering head, developed and rigorously tested by CCI, to ensure precise and efficient installation. To meet the tight deadline, work was carried out 24 hours a day for 5 consecutive days, allowing us to complete the project in less than 1.5 weeks—from mobilization to completion and demobilization.
Despite the challenges posed by the rural location, this project stands as a testament to CCI’s commitment to innovative problem-solving. Our ability to develop creative solutions not only drove down the costs but also significantly increased efficiency, ensuring the successful completion of this critical infrastructure upgrade.
